IPMS’s 16-week, live instructor-led program builds on that experience. It strengthens the discipline behind project leadership while preparing participants for the current PMP® examination through practical instruction, coaching, realistic exam scenarios and support with the application process.
The program keeps exam preparation connected to the decisions participants must make as projects unfold, strengthening the judgement they bring to their work as they pursue the PMP® — a globally recognised credential that demonstrates project leadership capability across industries and geographies.
Real Project Experience Needs Focused PMP Preparation
As the projects you lead become larger and more complex, the standard of leadership rises with them. Wider coordination and tighter funding conditions leave less room for uncertainty. Experience remains essential, but growing responsibility calls for a more deliberate command of how projects are planned and carried through.
For participants pursuing the PMP® credential, that development must also extend to the professional standard assessed by the current examination. They need to understand how recognised project management principles apply across different project environments and bring disciplined judgement to unfamiliar situations.
The right preparation must strengthen how participants lead active projects while building the knowledge and exam discipline required for the PMP® examination. PMP Prep That Strengthens How You Lead
IPMS combines project leadership development with focused exam preparation in one sustained learning experience. The Project Management Institute’s (PMI) standards are applied to the realities of project delivery across Nations and Indigenous organisations, keeping the material relevant to the responsibilities participants already carry.
Each part of the program connects what the examination assesses to decisions that arise on active projects. Live discussion gives participants space to test their reasoning and work through realistic scenarios. Direct guidance keeps the preparation focused as the material deepens and the examination approaches.
Participants develop a stronger command of project leadership while pursuing the credential through a clear, disciplined path. For sponsoring Nations and organisations, the investment strengthens capability within the people already responsible for moving priority work forward.
Inside the Program
The program is organised to deepen project leadership over time, then bring that learning into focused preparation for the PMP® examination.
A 16-Week Learning Progression
Participants begin with the foundations of modern project management, then work through the decisions that shape a project from initiation to close-out. The final stage brings the learning together through exam strategy, situational questions and focused review.
Support Through the Certification Process
Preparation continues between the live sessions through assigned work and practice. Participants receive ongoing coaching, guidance with the PMP® application and continued support as they move towards the examination.
